Description
English: Buenos Aires, 24 de febrero de 2015.- La exposición de fotografías "Bienvenidos a Quitilipi", organizada por el Mercado de Artesanías Tradicionales de la República Argentina (MATRA)-Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación, reúne una serie de retratos realizados por los fotógrafos Ariel Steinberg y Eduardo Miller a artesanos y familias artesanas qom, wich’í, mocoví y vilela con sus mejores piezas.

Este proyecto fotográfico, impulsado por el MATRA, se desarrolló en Quitilipi, Chaco, en el marco de la 36° Feria de Artesanía Aborigen René James Sotelo y la Segunda Fiesta Nacional del Arte Indígena, en el año 2013. En esa ocasión se llevó adelante el Primer Certamen Nacional de Artesanías de Pueblos Originarios. Las piezas ganadoras de esa edición y la del año siguiente se exhibirán junto a las fotos.

Hoy, Quitilipi es una gran feria nacional que reúne más de 600 artesanos de diferentes comunidades chaquenses a las que se suman muchos otros artesanos de pueblos originarios del país.
