English: Sky Bloom Floating Sculpture.
This is in Phoenix Arizona. This piece of art titled "Her secret is patience" has more than 600 pounds of netting affixed to two blue steel rings which sits 100 ft wide and 100 ft tall. It's designed by the world famous artist Janet Echelman. Echelman’s sculpture mixes the best of art and engineering and its floral form was inspired by the bloom of the saguaro cactus. (The supports for the sculpture have been removed from the picture to emphasize the true beauty and essence of the floating sculpture at night) I personally think this sculpture may be the reason Arizona gets so many UFO visits! :) |
