Description Dr. Stacy Luthy, a professor of biology with the University of the Pacific, lifts an underwater video camera from the Calaveras River near the New Hogan Dam, Valley Springs, Calif., Oct. 22, 2011. Luthy was demonstrating underwater views of fish habitat to students from Stagg and Bear Creek high schools of Stockton, Calif., during the Calaveras River Education and Appreciation Day. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District helped in hosting the in event, in partnership with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service’s “Connecting People with Nature” program.(U.S. Army Photo/ Michael J.
